Above the Clouds

Lasers and IPL are minimally invasive treatments which can be used to remove thread veins on the face, body and legs quickly and effectively. Thread vein removal treatment will remove thread veins between approximately 1-3 mm in size.

HOW ARE THREAD VEINS REMOVED?

  • The laser light passes safely through the skin which is readily absorbed by blood vessels, but not by the surrounding skin, heating them to point where the blood in the targeted blood vessel coagulates.

  • This causes the vein to coagulate and break down. The damaged veins are gradually dissolved and removed naturally by the body, fading their appearance over several weeks after treatment, leaving little or no trace of the original vein.

Between one to three sessions is usually required to obtain satisfactory results. Rarely more treatments maybe required, or in some very rare cases, the vein may not respond.

WHAT CAUSES THREAD VEINS?

Thread Veins are often seen at birth when the skin is very thin and pale, and they can therefore be considered a normal feature of the skin. However as we age, veins can become more prominent due to the follow causes:

     Spider Veins Treatment

I cannot recommend Dr Berry highly enough. From the exceptionally thorough initial consultation to the actual Lyndon laser treatment of the spider veins on my cheek area.

Dr Berry has such a lovely, welcoming manner and totally put me at ease. Explaining what would happen during, after the procedure and any possible side effects of which I experienced none.

Have to say have been delighted with the results and after three sessions there has been a very significant reduction in the spider veins!

Thank you, Dr Berry.

Dr Berry explains that there are many types of veins and vascular lesions, and therefore it's crucial to use the correct type of laser, and the appropriate laser settings.

We have four Vascular Lasers, and an IPL with a range of spot sizes to cater for all kinds of vascular conditions.
